Privacy Policy
NourFit suggests dishes at restaurants in Slovakia that fit your calorie target, diet and allergies. This policy covers what data the app uses, where that data goes and how long it is kept.

No account and no ads
You don't create an account in NourFit, and the app never asks for your name, email address or phone number. It shows no ads. There are no analytics or crash reporting tools in it, and it doesn't track you across other apps or websites.
What stays on your phone
Your profile is saved only on your phone. It holds your goal, gender, height, weight, age, activity level, diet, allergies and the foods you don't like. Your meal log, saved meals, saved places, recent searches and reminder settings are kept there too. None of it is uploaded to our server. If backups are on, your phone may include this data in the backup it keeps in your own iCloud or Google account.
What the app sends to our server
Our server runs on Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany. When the app asks it for restaurants or dishes, the request contains:
- a random ID that the app creates the first time you open it, which is not tied to your name, phone number or Apple or Google account;
- your location, either the phone's position or a place you picked, so the server can find restaurants near you;
- your calorie, protein, carb and fat targets for the meal, your diet, your allergies and the foods you don't like, so the server can rank dishes for you (your weight, height and age are not sent);
- the anonymous ID that RevenueCat uses for your purchases (see Subscriptions below);
- your time zone, language, app version and whether the phone runs iOS or Android.
The server uses your location and targets to answer the request and doesn't save them. It does save the random ID with a count of your AI requests, because each phone has a daily limit and the free version includes a few AI checks a week. Our hosting provider keeps technical request logs for a short time, and those logs include the location that was part of the request.
AI features
When you ask a question in Ask, send a photo of a meal or check a food, the question, photo or food name goes through our server to OpenAI, which writes the answer. With a question, the server also sends the earlier messages of that chat, your meal target, the calories you have left for the day, and either the restaurant's menu or the names and distances of nearby restaurants. Your location coordinates and the random ID are not sent to OpenAI. OpenAI is based in the United States and handles this data under its API terms.
We keep the text of Ask conversations on our server, without the random ID or anything else that would link them to you. Photos are not saved. The conversation only keeps a note that a photo was sent, plus your caption. Answers to food checks are saved so the same food doesn't need to be checked again, also with no link to you.
Subscriptions
NourFit Pro is sold through the App Store and Google Play, and we never see your payment details. To manage subscriptions the app uses RevenueCat, a service based in the United States. When the app starts, it connects to RevenueCat with an anonymous ID it creates for this purpose, to load the plans and check whether you have Pro. RevenueCat receives your purchases from Apple or Google and links them to that ID. Before our server answers an AI request, it sends the same ID to RevenueCat to check whether you have Pro. It keeps that answer in memory for a few minutes and doesn't save it.
Notifications
The evening reminder is scheduled on your phone, and no data leaves it for that. For the "New places near you" notifications the app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging from Google. When the app starts, Firebase gives the phone a push token, and Google receives that token with technical details about the app installation.
"New places near you" stays off until you turn it on. When it's on, the phone follows two notification topics, one for your language and one for your area of about 20 km, so Google knows that area. Turning it off stops both. We send these notifications to a whole topic, never to you personally.
Maps and addresses
The map in the app is Google Maps. When the map shows where you are, Google receives your position. When you type an address to set your place, the phone turns it into coordinates with Apple's service on iPhone and Google's on Android. Google and Apple handle this data under their own privacy policies (Google, Apple).
Permissions
The app asks for your location when you choose to use your current position. You can pick a place by name instead. For meal photos it opens the camera or the system photo picker, so it only receives the photo you choose. It asks before it shows you notifications.
How long data is kept
Data on your phone stays until you delete the app. "Start over" in You clears the profile. On our server, the random ID with its request counts, the Ask conversations and the food check answers have no automatic deletion date yet. RevenueCat keeps purchase records under its own policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. NourFit stores nothing under your name, so once you delete the app, the data left on our server can't be traced back to you. If you want help with any of this, write to info@tripzi.tech.
You can also complain to the Slovak data protection authority, Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (dataprotection.gov.sk), or to the authority in your own EU country.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
